When researching credit repair companies, one can't help but feel like they are seeing the same thing over and over, but in Avalon Credit's case, the feeling of déjà vu is particularly strong. Strong enough to make you want to look into it further. And after a few exact match queries in Google, the mystery was solved.

Avalon Credit's website lists Bronze, Gold, and Platinum credit repair packages and provides a separate page with information about each such as pricing, services, and services descriptions. These pages are well written, informative, and copied wholesale from the website of Credit Attorney, a Utah credit repair company that has been providing credit repair services since 2001. After a little additional investigation, it is clear that Avalon's About Us page is also copied from the Credit Attorney website, the How to Repair Your Credit page is copied from the Lexington Law website, and the Frequently Asked Questions are all related to insurance and duplicated from any one of the over 2,000 other websites that contain the exact same FAQs.

Granted, none of this makes a definitive statement about the quality of Avalon's credit repair services, but it certainly doesn't look good. It's hard to place much faith in a company that has no qualms about stealing from other companies.

Also of note is that Avalon advertises packages other than the three mentioned above. They offer three "Rescore" packages (complete with descriptions duplicated on multiple other sites) ranging from $499 to $899, and possibly a Pay for Delete service. The latter is advertised via a banner that links to a non-existent page so no additional information is available.

Avalon Credit Reviews

Very happy with this service!! We started with Leigh in mid September 2014, our credit was not good. our credit scores just kept getting better and better very quickly. WE were preapproved for a home loan in January 2015, and closed on our house feb 27th 2015. This never would have happened without this company.Just want to say its worth the investment, and we cant thank Avalon credit enough. Thanks so much!!!!! Glenn and Lisa
They tell you not to do anything, but let them do it all. They rush in and get the low hanging fruit--the name misspellings, the wrong middle initials, the obsolete addresses, they even managed to remove an inquiry or two. All of these things anyone can do for themselves. What they were unable to do is the hard stuff--removing late payments from your reports. They claim that they will--To the tune of $499 UP FRONT--but they don't get a damned thing done about them.

Beware. Do not use.
